The Whole Thing Together
Title: The Whole Thing Together
Author: Ann Brashares
Main Characters: Sasha, Ray
Setting: New York
Book Length: 306 Pages
Summary: Sasha and Ray are on opposite sides of the same family- but due to the raging family war, they have never even met. This book details their journey parallel to each other.
Buckle up, it's about to get real. This book was SO FRUSTRATING! It jumped between POVs too quickly and (in the e-arc at least) didn't give much hint into what POV you were now reading. Plus, there were way too many side characters given unrelated POVs and that distanced me from the characters. I felt I couldn't become close to any of the characters because out of nowhere it would be someone else's POV! It was extremely predictable, contained sexual-like incest, and just wasn't very interesting.
* Warning: There are abundant curse words throughout the novel. Read at your own discretion. *
1 out of 5 stars!
