It is the same for Cassie who is on a mission to find her brother who was taken into one of the camps created to protect children. Except those camps are actually training these kids to fight and kill the alien invaders. Cassie realizes while on her mission a lot about the world around her as she reflects on her past and as she adventures around Ohio. 

I loved this story. Cassie's adventure joined mid-way through the book by Zombie's POV was amazing. It was full of action and adventure while keeping real characters and a coherent story. I highly recommend to anyone looking for fulfilling read.
